The iPhone looks pretty dope. The downside: it looks like it will cost $500 to $600! That comes as a bit of a shock to me. But then again the 1st generation iPod was $400 for a 5gb player.
I like the idea of a widescreen/touchscreen PDA/phone. That it’s made by Apple is even more appealing. I can’t wait until one of my friends buys one.
The Apple TV device looks interesting. Honestly, I’m not at the point where I need or even want a device like this to mess around with. I have a standalone DVD player hooked up to my TV that plays DiVX movies and other video formats and I can plug my iPod into my stereo so I really don’t need to stream media anywhere or have iTunes draining away all my wealth. I’m not sure what I’ll spend the $300 on, but it’s not going to be Apple TV.
I was hoping the Mac Minis would get an overhaul…the Core 2 Duo chip for starters. I’ve held off buying an Intel Mac since Adobe hasn’t caught up to the new platform, but with CS3 on the horizon, I could be persuaded to make the conversion.
I was also surprised that Leopard wasn’t announced. I wonder what they’re waiting for? Well, there’s always tomorrow…
