I like The Mars Volta—a lot—and I’m sure this show will rage, but $35 seems kinda high for ticket price…

I got up early on the day they went on sale, was logged in to Ticketmaster with my account, refreshing the page as the seconds ticked up to 10am and still couldn’t get pavillion tix to this show!! WTF? They must have sold out in less than 2 min. since that was the wait time I got from Ticketmaster…oh well, at least I got lawn tix.

Yikes! Tix to to this show cost way too much for me…maybe lawn seats, at $40…the other tix are $75 and $89…wow

WEEN @ The House of Blues Cleveland, 8 p.m., 10/25/07

I had the good fortune of seeing Charles Burnett’s, Killer of Sheep, at the Cleveland Cinematheque this past Monday. If it wasn’t for the lengthy introduction of the film I would have missed the first 15 minutes due to Cleveland’s construction detours, which seem to be every other block.

The film was nothing short of amazing. Sometimes I read the descriptions of films and they come off as lukewarm…I felt this way when reading the description of Killer of Sheep, but it was so highly recommended I figured I had to see it.
